‘Bud Light’ bandit wanted for Petersburg bank robbery

PETERSBURG, Va. -- A man wearing a Bud Light hat and carrying a gun robbed the Bank of Southside Virginia Wednesday morning on South Crater Road in Petersburg, according to a Petersburg Police spokeswoman.

"A lone person displayed a weapon and demanded money before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries," police wrote in an email. "The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’10” tall, approximately 200 pounds. He wore a white long sleeve shirt, dark pants, gray baseball cap with Bud Light logo, long dread locks, goatee and sun glasses."
