Dinwiddie County crash victim identified

DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. — A man that died Sunday night after the car he was driving ran off the road and struck a tree has been identified. The crash occurred at 5:36 p.m. on Vaughan Road.

The driver of the 2002 Toyota Solara, Aaron C. Bonner-Cox, 25, of Dinwiddie County died at the scene; he was not wearing a seatbelt.

The troopers investigation revealed that Bonner-Cox was traveling south on Vaughan Road when he ran off the road to the right, overcorrected left, then back right, running off the road hitting a tree and overturning twice, ejecting the driver.

Speed is being considered a factor in the crash.
