HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — The exit ramp from I-64 West to I-295 North was shut down for hours following a tractor-trailer accident Sunday morning.
Virginia State Police Spokesman Sgt. Stephen Vick says that the accident happened around 11:25 a.m. when a tractor-trailer overturned at the bottom of the ramp.
The driver suffered minor injuries and a small diesel spilled.
The ramp will be shut down for a few hours as crews upright the tractor-trailer and unload its contents. The tractor-trailer was carrying machine parts.
Currently speed is considered a factor in the accident, according to Vick.
