HANOVER COUNTY, Va. — The backup from two accidents that snarled traffic along I-95 south in Hanover County Friday afternoon has cleared as of 6:50 p.m.
VDOT reported that traffic was backed up beginning around the exit for Route 30 in Doswell around 3:30 p.m.
One accident has closed the interstate’s left shoulder around t mile marker 93.4. Another multi-vehicle wreck near mile marker 89 has closed the interstate’s left lane and shoulder.
Traffic was backed up nine miles as of 4:30 p.m.
