Celebrate faith and unity on the National Day of Prayer

RICHMOND, Va - The National Day of Prayer is an annual event help the first Thursday in May, and Richmond is one of the many cities celebrating this time of gathering in unity and prayer. Richmond Coordinator for the National Day of Prayer, Minister Alison Baugh shared a preview of what’s in store. A Bible Reading Marathon will be Monday, May 4th at 10am at 1000 9th Street between Broad Street and Grace Street.  The NDP Christian Leadership Prayer Breakfast is Thursday, May 7th from 7am to 9:30am at Mt. Gilead FGIM, located at 2501 Mt. Gilead Boulevard. Finally, The NDP Bell Towers of the Virginia Capital Event  is Thursday, May 7th at 12pm at 1000 Bank Street.
