RICHMOND, Va - Lynn Rainville, Ph.D., Author and Research Professor in the Humanities at Sweet Briar College and Director at Tusculum Institute, shared details about her latest work, ‘Hidden History: African American Cemeteries in Central Virginia.’ The book looks to recover information crucial to the stories of the African American families who lived and worked in Central Virginia for over 200 years and shed light on family genealogies, the rise and fall of segregations, and attitudes toward religion and death.
