Maya is confronted by her sister, Nicole on “The Bold and The Beautiful.”
There’s some bad news for soap fans. Because of NCAA March Madness coverage on Thursday and Friday, “The Young and The Restless” and “The Bold and The Beautiful” will be preempted.
That means “Bold” viewers across the country will have to wait until Monday to find out what happens after fans were left with one of the biggest cliffhangers in recent memory.
It happened at the Forrester mansion as Maya Avant, the agency’s lead model and CEO Rick’s mistress turned main squeeze, was confronted by her sister, Nicole.
Viewers finally found out the big secret Nicole has been holding over Maya’s head. And let’s just say it was a big one.
Nichole first touched on the reason Maya’s parents did not acknowledge her.
“The reason they never mentioned you. The sister I had that no one spoke of. I’d ask about you and they’d just turn around like they didn’t even hear me… Those few times you’d come over for my birthday, they’d barely look at you,” Nicole said. “Only they never explained why. And I know I was a little kid, but how could they act like you never existed?”
Nicole then says that she realized her parents turned on Maya and hurt her, but that Maya’s absence left her hurt and confused.
“I wondered why, but I think I might know,” Nicole continues. “I stumbled across what could be the reason for all this. I wish you could tell me yourself. The reason I haven’t seen you since you left home is because you’re been living a whole different lifestyle. I’ve done research and I know why our parents kept it a secret.”
Then it happens.
“You’re not my sister, Maya. You’re not Maya at all…,” Nicole said.

All the attention even prompted a tweet from Karla Mosley, the actress who plays Maya.
