Hundreds lose power as Friday morning temperatures plunge

RICHMOND, Va. — More than 2,700 Dominion Virginia Power customers are without power Friday morning, according to Dominion’s outage map. Most of the outages, about 1,300, are off Route 5 in Varina where Dominion reported a downed power line.

A wind chill advisory will remain in effect until noon. The wind chill will make it feel like we are in the range of -5 to -10 degrees F.
