CHARLES CITY COUNTY, Va. – One man was killed in a Friday morning mobile home fire. Crews were dispatched at 4:12 a.m. Friday, to a mobile home in the  4600 block of Dobie Trail Road in Charles City. Upon arrival, crews found a mobile home engulfed in flames.

Bystanders told responding units that one person was unaccounted for at the home. The heavy volume of fire stopped crews from being able to search the structure. Once the fire was extinguished, firefighters found one deceased male.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The sister of the surviving victim has made an online fundraiser to help out her sister in this time of loss.

"She has lost everything and recently lost her job as well.  She really needs all the help she can get right  now.  Please find it in your heart to donate to help her with expenses," the sister wrote on the fundraiser website.
