VCU wins and loses at George Mason

Already without senior point guard Briante Weber, VCU lost Treveon Graham in the first half of their 72-60 win over George Mason after he re-aggravated an ankle injury he suffered against Rhode Island.  Melvin Johnson was one of several Rams that stepped up in his absence, scoring a game high 17.  JeQuan Lewis, starting for the injured Weber, scored 11 of his 13 in the second half.  VCU has 13 of their 14 games.

Virginia Union beat Winston-Salem 80-70 behind a game high 24 from Avery Jirmnson.  The Panthers have won three of their last four.

Randolph-Macon defeated Eastern Mennonite 76-73 to stay perfect in the ODAC.  Akeem Holmes led three Yellow-Jackets in double figures with a career-high  21 points.  RMC has won 15 straight and are 11-0 in the conference.
