CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- The University of Virginia suffered its first loss of the college basketball season losing to Duke 69-63 Saturday at John Paul Jones Arena. #4 Duke ended the game with an 11-0 run.  Malcolm Brogdon led  #2 Virginia with 17 points.  Tyus Jones led four Blue Devils in double figures with 17 points.  The loss snapped UVA's 21-game home winning streak.

RICHMOND, Va. -- VCU had its 12-game winning streak snapped by Richmond 64-55 at the Siegel Center.  But the bigger story was the loss of Rams' senior guard Briante Weber. Weber will miss the rest of the season after tearing the ACL, MCL and meniscus in his right knee.  He was driving down the lane when his knee gave out when trying to jump stop.  He left the game and returned later to the Rams' sidelines on crutches.
