Armed robber hits W. Broad St. Exxon, makes off with cash

RICHMOND, Va. — The Exxon in the 4000 block of W. Broad Street was robbed by a male with a gun, who took off on foot.

At approximately 6:05 p.m. Richmond Police responded to the Exxon, for an armed robbery, said Captain Snawder. Once on scene they determined the gas station had been robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police described the suspect as a white male, approximately 6 foot tall, 30 to 40 years old, armed with a handgun.

He was last seen leaving on foot wearing a black jacket, black hat, and blue jeans. The Exxon is located at Malvern and Broad Street.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stopper at 780-1000.
