RICHMOND, Va. – Nigel Chavis is an outstanding scholar athlete from Armstrong High School in Richmond. The high school senior holds a 3.72 grade point average and served as the team captain of the school’s football team. He is also a mentor in the school district’s mentoring program and reads to younger students at Woodville Elementary School.
