Spiders can’t hold lead on the road, R-MC continues to roll at home

The Richmond Spiders were unable to win their first true road game of the year as 22nd ranked Dayton beat them 63-60.   T.J. Cline led four Richmond players in double figures with 14.  The Spiders shot 55.6 percent in the second half but it wasn't enough as they fell to 10-9 on the season.  It's the fourth time in the last five road games that Richmond has lost by five or fewer points.

William and Mary beat Northeastern 78-62 to claim a share of first place in the CAA.  Omar Prewitt led the Tribe with 19 as four players scored in double figures.

Randolph-Macon defeated Emory & Henry 69-53 for their 11th straight win to remain the only undefeated team in the ODAC.

Virginia Union snapped their 10 game losing streak with a 75-73 overtime win over Lincoln.

VCU women lost at home to Dayton 75-56.

Richmond's women beat UMass 64-44.  Head Coach Michael Shafer won his 167th game at Richmond, that's the most in school history.
