Two arrests made in Petersburg for the murder of Jabari Lee

PETERSBURG, Va. – Petersburg Police have arrested two men in connection with the murder of 35-year-old Jabari C. Lee.

Lee was murdered on Dec. 30, 2014 in Petersburg, in a rash of separate shootings that left four people shot and two victims dead overnight. He was found around 11 p.m., shot to death in the 50 block of Slagle Avenue, in the southeastern part of the city.

Robert Jones, II and Antoine Myler have been arrested by police. Jones, age 27, was arrested on Jan. 15, 2015 and Myler, 35, was arrested on Jan. 19.

Both are charged with murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony and other charges.

They were arrested without incident and are being held in Petersburg City Jail awaiting arraignment. Additional charges may be pending related to other recent incidents in the city, police said.
