LOS ANGELES – Maroon 5 channeled The Wedding Crashers in their latest music video, “Sugar,” as they drove around Los Angeles  to surprise random brides and grooms with performances of their song.

“We’re going to drive across L.A. and hit every wedding we possibly can,” Maroon 5 front-man Adam Levine said in the beginning of the video.

The band rushed into each venue and set up an impromptu stage with a white backdrop.  Some of the wedding guests looked a bit puzzled, but then their reaction changed once the band was revealed.

“It was an out of body experience,” Levine told the Rolling Stone.  “I have no idea I would be affected by the overwhelming reactions we received from the couples and guests.  Being able to create an unforgettable experience for several people was the highlight of it all.”
