RICHMOND, Va - Veterinarian Dr. Danielle Spencer-David stopped by the studio to pass along information about Feline Leukemia, a viral infection in cats. Feline Leukemia, or FeLV cannot be transmitted to people, dogs, or other animals, and can be passed from one cat to another by sharing food and water dishes. Dr. Spencer-David walked us through some signs and symptoms of the infection, as well as tests, treatment, and prevention.
