CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Police identified the woman killed in an early-morning accident on Interstate 95 in Chesterfield as 48-year-old Alexandri McKinney of Hackensack, New Jersey. McKinney was the passenger in a 2011 Toyota Camry that ran off I-95 southbound near Route 10 at about 5 a.m.

"It ran off the road right, came back onto the road crossing the travel lanes and striking the left barrier wall, at which point the front seat passenger [McKinney] was ejected from the vehicle," Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. Steve Vick wrote in an email.

The driver, 19-year-old Xaviar N. Sanders, of Homestead, Florida, was charged with Reckless Driving.

Both Sanders and a four-year-old passenger were treated at VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, Vick said.

The crash remains under investigation.
