RICHMOND, Va - The Richmond Animal League is holding its 4th Annual Operation Silent Night event, during which they go to great lengths to find loving homes for as many pets as they can in time for the holidays. Elizabeth Thomas and Joseph Blanton shared that adoption fees will be reduced to $10, adoption hours will extend, and volunteer adoption coordinators will be on hand to match interested adopters with available animals. Dogs and cats who are not adopted will be placed in loving foster homes for the holidays. All RAL staff members look forward to a ‘silent shelter’ every year. The event runs from Friday, December 12th through December 23rd. For more information visit
