“A 2004 Ford box truck was traveling south on Route 623 when it crossed the double yellow line and struck a northbound 2007 Peterbilt tractor-trailer,” Vick wrote in an email.

The driver of the 2004 Ford, Bruce T. Martin, 21, of Louisa, was charged with Fail to Stay Right of Center.

The Peterbilt was loaded with 77,000 pounds of gravel, police said. No gravel spilled onto the road.
