Richmond gunshot victim suffers life-threatening injuries

RICHMOND, Va. — A shooting in Richmond has left one person hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

At approximately 11 p.m. Richmond Police responded to the 300 block of Red Ash Drive for a shooting.

Once on scene, police said they found an adult male who had been shot multiple times.

He was transported to MCV with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 30s wearing a black jacket and a red hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
