HENRICO, Va. -- Holidays are just another day at the office for first responders.

Check out what these firefighters had to say, who were in the middle of cooking their Thanksgiving dinner when they got the call for a fire at  St. Martins Trail apartments in the 3200 block of St. Martins Trail, just after 8:15 a.m.

Two people have been displaced after a fire broke out at a West End Henrico apartment complex Thursday morning.

The crews from Fire Station 12 were finally able to get back into their kitchen after helping out those in need. Their own families were waiting for them when they arrived back.

Photojournalist Lamar Person went back to the fire station off West End Drive, to film their Thanksgiving celebration with their families.

A big thank you to all our first responders!
