RICHMOND, Va. — Dozens of Richmond families are getting help with their Thanksgiving dinner after AT&T donated 200 turkeys through FeedMore’s Mobile Pantry Program.
“AT&T is pleased to be able to help less fortunate families in the Richmond area at a time when many household budgets are limited and holiday budgets are tight,” Celeste Spear, AT&T’s Director of Sales for Virginia, said in a statement. “By giving away turkeys, AT&T can help FeedMore’s Mobile Pantry Program ensure that families throughout our community are better able to celebrate Thanksgiving this year.”
FeedMore uses the refrigerated Mobile Pantry to bring donated food directly to neighborhoods of “high need.”
“This generous turkey giveaway comes at a perfect time for FeedMore’s Mobile Pantry Program,” Doug Pick, FeedMore President and CEO, said in a statement. “This Thanksgiving, we hope our mobile pantry program can help make the holiday season more nutritious and enjoyable for families in need.”
