RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond police have arrested two men from the Virgin Islands and are hunting for a third suspect after a woman was shot and killed inside a Richmond hotel room earlier this month.

Officials said Thursday afternoon that  20-year-old Sheanne U. Rivera, Of St. Croix in the Virgin Islands, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Another person was involved, but since then the case was nolle prosecuted and their record expunged (updated).

Detectives are also asking for the public’s help to find 19-year-old J’Wa E. Charlery, who is also from St. Croix and wanted on the same charge.

She died at the scene.”
