2nd man arrested in connection to fatal party shooting

RICHMOND, Va. —  A Henrico man was arrested in connection to a double murder that stemmed from an argument at a party.

“Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Dajon Johnson, 26, of the 3600 block of Millers Glen Lane, Henrico. He was taken into custody near his residence without incident. Johnson has been charged by Richmond Police detectives with conspiracy to commit murder,” Richmond Police spokesman Gene Lepley said in a Friday afternoon email. “Earlier this week, Rashard S. Cutler, 21, of the 600 block of Woodhaven Drive, was arrested by Richmond Police detectives and charged with conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the same double homicide.”

Police said both men were involved in the October 19 triple shooting at a party on Westover Hills Boulevard.

Elijah D. Gee, 24, of Red Oak Lane and Antonio M. Sherman, 18, of Lynchburg, died in the shooting.

A 19-year-old woman was also shot, but she survived and is listed in stable condition.
