“The victim reported that she was propositioned by a known subject through her window, which she ignored,” Henrico Police spokesman Lt. Chris Eley said.

Minutes later, the woman heard a knock at her door. It was the same man, who police identified as 55-year-old James Oliver Jeter.

“Once again, the subject propositioned her, and she denied his request,” Eley said. “The subject then forced his way into her home, exposed his genitalia, and kissed the victim. Arriving officers found Jeter on the property and he was positively identified by the victim as the assailant.”

The incident occured at about 8 p.m. Wednesday night, Eley said.
