An event to support and empower women affected by violence and abuse

RICHMOND, Va - Fatima Smith of YWCA stopped by the studio to share details about their 'Remember My Name' memorial event and the 'Notes of Hope' Campaign. YWCA, an organization to support and empower women affected by violence and abuse, launched a kindness campaign across the city for people to leave random notes at local shops spreading words of encouragement. The annual 'Remember My Name' Memorial event is Thursday, October 30th from 6pm to 8:30pm at Unity of Richmond, located at 800 Blanton Avenue.
