CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- A two-year-old girl was checked out and deemed okay after she somehow put her mother's SUV in neutral at the gas station and coasted across Hopkins Road before the vehicle slammed into the Adams Automotive building. The impact left a hole in the building.

"I was sitting at my desk and heard a boom," Adams Automotive manager Tony Price said. "Next thing I know the front end of SUV is in our showroom."

Price said paramedics arrived to check out the child. She was not seriously injured in the crash.

While Price found it pretty amazing that the child was not hurt, he said the fact the SUV made it across Hopkins Road unscathed was equally remarkable.

"It's a pretty busy road, especially around noon," Price said. "It's pretty amazing everyone is okay."
