CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Officials reminded the public Friday that they are not actively seeking donations to fund the search for missing University of Virginia student Hannah Graham.
“Any individual requesting an officially vetted request for donation, (e.g., food, refreshments, supplies) will have a letter indicating the person is authorized to request a donation on behalf of the Hannah Graham search, signed by Kirby Felts, Emergency Management Coordinator for Charlottesville-UVA-Albemarle County,” Allison Farole, Asst. Emergency Management Coordinator, wrote in a news release.
However, if you would like to make a donation, you can choose one or more of the Virginia Search and Rescue organizations.
Hannah Graham was last seen walking in Charlottesville, Virginia on Sept. 13. Police later arrested a man in connection with the student’s abduction, but there has been no sign of the 18-year-old girl.
