Dave Brat and Jack Trammell
ASHLAND, Va. — Tickets for the debate between 7th District Congressional candidates Dave Brat and Jack Trammell will be made available at noon Wednesday on the Randolph-Macon College website. Brat, the Republican, and Trammell, the Democrat, are both professors at the Ashland college.
The debate is scheduled to take place Tuesday, October 28, at 7:30 p.m.
The winner of the November election will represent Virginia’s 7th District in the U.S. House of Representatives. The 7th District covers parts of Henrico, Chesterfield and Richmond.
The seat Trammell and Brat seek was once occupied by Eric Cantor. Cantor was House Majority Leader before he was defeated by Brat in the Republican primary earlier this year.
