OKLAHOMA CITY — Video showing a man’s heated confrontation with a panhandler in Oklahoma City has gone viral on Facebook.

In fact, that video has raked up nearly 3 million views since it was posted on Wednesday.

The ruckus started when Daniel Ayala said he was tricked by a 78-year-old woman who begs for money on the street every day.

When Ayala saw the woman getting into a new Fiat, he went off.

KFOR reports that Ayala said he approached the elderly woman and said, “You ask for money in the middle of the street and you drive a 2013 car.”

“Listen, I work hard for my money. That’s why people like you take advantage of people like me. This is bull****,” said Ayala.

The woman behind the camera was with her son when they saw the beggar get into a brand new Fiat.

“I was like, ‘That’s the lady I gave money to.’ I was looking straight ahead thinking, ‘I just got duped by a little old lady,” said Brandi Newman.

The woman’s family reached out on Facebook and said their grandmother does have a panhandling permit.
