Legendary Rocker hosts benefit concert & dinner to honor Veterans

Progressive Rock Music Legend Ian Anderson/Jethro Tull is joining forces with Global Campaign Against I.E.D.  to raise funds for wounded veterans and other programs supporting veterans. The organization completely run by volunteers with no paid employees are sponsoring two fundraisers in Richmond.

The first event partnered with The Blinded Veterans Association is "Dinner in the Dark" at Max's Positive Vibe Cafe, Stratford Hills Shopping Center, 2825 Hathaway Road, Richmond,  Saturday, October 4, at 6pm. The event is to raise awareness of vision-related injuries veterans and other IED survivors face everyday. Dinner guests will be challenged to navigate a meal without sight.

The second event is "Ian Anderson and the best of Jethro Tull Helping Heroes," concert Sunday, October 5th at The National Theater. The Virginia Military Institute (VMI) Commanders Band will open the show, Doors open at 6:30pm, concert at 7:30pm.
