WATCH: Dog found 2700 miles from home bolts at airport

Posted

PHILADELPHIA -- The dog that somehow ended up 2700 miles away from home wasn't quite ready to return Tuesday night.

Gigit's family couldn't wait to shower her with love when she arrived at Philadelphia International Airport.

However, when her paws hit the pavement, she bolted.

Gigit first disappeared in April from Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania and then turned up in Oregon.

The dog was eventually corned and went home with her owner.
