ST. LOUIS, Missouri — A Missouri mother was killed after she saved her 10-year-old daughter from an on-coming car. The mother pushed her daughter out of the way after the car jumped the curb outside a St. Louis Walgreens on Monday, according to Fox2Now.com.

The driver of the car apparently hit the gas instead of the brake as the mother and daughter walked in front of the store, police said. The 30-year-old mother had just enough time to push her daughter to safety, police said.

The driver suffered minor injuries.
