Temporary striping tape installed on Interstate 66 in Centreville peeled up and shifted, which created spaghetti-shaped dividers that caused confusion --- and some serious delays for drivers.

The tape striping was originally installed over the weekend as part of a bridge repair project.

A contractor was sent in to fix the striping issues after the Monday morning rush hour.
