Musician Tony Alone has created a tribute video for Mo’Ne Davis, the 13-year-old pitching phenom that everyone is talking about.

Davis, who plays with the Philadelphia’s Taney Dragons, is the first girl to throw a shutout in the Little League World Series, the sixth to get a hit in World Series history and the first Little Leaguer to get front-page attention on one of the nation’s top sports magazines.

Davis has already increased interest exponentially in the Little League World Series, bringing much needed attention to the national pastime that has suffered, on the major league level, from performance-enhancing drug scandals, declining attendance and few superstar players.

Her team fell to a Las Vegas squad on Wednesday, but the floodgates of fan affection remain wide open.

A snippet of the lyrics in Davis’ tribute are below:

the ball is flying right by me
there’s a girl on the mound whose throwing heat
I won’t get a hit, no way
hey must be the Mo’ne
she’s the baddest girl you’ve ever seen
she hits you with a curve and they call strike 3
you won’t get a no way
Hey must be the Mo’ne
