‘Person of Interest’ arrested in Midlothian Turnpike homicide

RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond police have made an arrest in connection with a deadly shooting Saturday night on Richmond’s Southside.

Officers found 58-year-old Chong Kyu Han, of the 8300 block of Houghton Place in Chesterfield County, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the 6300 block of Midlothian Turnpike just before midnight. Han died at the scene.

Detectives arrested 27-year-old Arthur L. Moore, of the 900 block of North 30th Street, on Sunday. Moore was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Police think robbery was the motive for the crime, but said their investigation is ongoing.
