Monsters, ghosts and ghouls wanted for very scary job

DOSWELL, Va. — Do you like to scare people, I mean really scare people? Kings Dominion wants to hear from you.

The theme park is looking to hire 600 monsters, ghosts and ghouls to work the 14th season of Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion.

“In total, Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion features nine mazes, six scare zones, six live shows and more than 450 monsters roaming the midways. As part of the 40th Celebration, Kings Dominion is bringing back the classic ‘Maze of Madness.’ Guests will try to find their way out after venturing down twisted halls of mirrors and chain link in an endless maze of terror,” Kings Dominion Communications Manager Katelyn Sherwood said about the Halloween tradition.

The park set-up four “Scream Tests and Creature Casting” dates if you’re looking for a job:

  • Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion is open on select nights from September 26 through November 2.
