RICHMOND, Va. -- Long after the police and paramedics leave, there are people who clean up after violent crimes and medical emergencies.
But despite the importance of their job, and the health concerns, CBS 6 News found that the crime scene cleanup industry is virtually unregulated in Virginia.
CBS 6 senior reporter Wayne Covil investigates the law, talks to the people who do this unpleasant job for a living and hears from families with horror stories to tell.
