RICHMOND, Va. – You will now need a ticket if you plan to attend Fan Appreciation Day and the Washington Redskins-New England Patriots joint practice sessions this summer at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center in Richmond.

The team said it was implementing the ticket system in an effort to avoid overflow crowds that could overwhelm training camp. Fan Appreciation Day is August 2. The Washington Redskins-New England Patriots joint practice sessions are August 4, 5 and 6.

“At this time, fans wishing to attend Training Camp on the aforementioned dates may enter the lottery free of charge by visiting redskins.com/trainingcamp. The deadline to enter is Friday, July 25 at noon,” the team announced. “Randomly selected fans will receive an e-mail on Saturday, July 26 with a link to a printable ticket with a unique bar code, which guarantees access to the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center on the date for which their name was drawn.”

Each randomly selected fan will receive four complimentary tickets for the selected day.

“Each fan entering the gates, including children, must present their complimentary ticket prior to entry in order to guarantee access,” the team said.

Fans with questions are asked to call Washington Redskins’ guest services department at 301-276-6068.

What’s mater they don’t want the camp to have more people show up for RVA more then NVA did. Lol

What a “Deal”! Redskins get a Free Training Park, $500,000 a year to show up, and restrict their hosts’ ability to “make profits”, on their biggest days, to pay the Redskins fees and pay tax payers back?
