COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. --   A jury could decide this week if a woman is guilty of kicking a 21-year-old Colonial Heights man to death.

The trial is underway for Margaret Dacey, age 18, who stands accused in the beating death of Rusty Mack in February of last year.

Dacey is the last of four people initially charged for Mack’s death. The other three people charged in his deal including his former wife, have walked free

Prosecutors believe Dacey deliver the lethal kick to Mack while he was down, which caused him to hit his head on the pavement.

Mack, age 21, died outside his apartment after a confrontation in February of last year.

The trial is expected to last three days.

The determination of Rusty’s family in fighting for a fair and competent prosecution of his alleged killer seems to be paying off. This prosecution team definitely did their homework! Praying for justice for Rusty’s death and the harshest penalty for his killer.

It’s such a shame that everyone so far has been let off in this case. I feel so badly for his family that justice has not been served. Hopefully this “animal” will get convicted so that his family can have some peace.
