Tractor trailer crash backed up I-95

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. - A tractor trailer accident caused big delays on I-95 south at the Chamberlayne Ave./Route 301 exit (mile marker 82)in Henrico.  Scroll down for live updates.

The right and center lanes are closed, VDOT said. The backup is 2.5 miles.

Virginia State Police expect all three lanes along I-95 South near Chamberlayne Avenue to reopen by 3:00 p.m.  The cause of the crash is still unclear at this time.  The driver and a passenger inside the tractor trailer were transported to the hospital.  Their condition at this time is unknown.

    Until Henrico Countu and the Virginia State Police start yo enforce trailer safety these accidents will continue to happen because these trucking companies that no trailer safety enforcement is being conducted in Virginia

      Nevermind that this could be a case of some jackwagon flying down 95 and cutting the tractor trailer off… but sure let’s go with trailer safely…
