FLUVANNA, Co. --  The Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the disappearance of 49-year-old Janet Renee Field of Hickory Hill Road in Scottsville.

Officials say Field was last seen on Wednesday, July 2, by her husband at their home.

Her husband, Lewis Field, spoke off camera saying that she left their house in Scottsville early in the afternoon and didn't return that evening. He also didn't know where she was going.

Fluvanna County Sheriffs held a press conference on Friday to give more details in her disappearance and say that at this point they don't suspect foul play.

Field is described as a white female, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds.  She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

At this point they don't have a clothing description, but they did find her 2010 burgundy Subaru Forrester with the license plate WNP259 at the Park and Ride lot at Zion crossroads on July 4.

Authorities say she may have ties to the Richmond area, but at this point they are hoping someone can give them information that can bring her back home.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Fluvanna Co. Sheriff's Office at 434-589-8211.
