Henrico Public Schools host job fair for 2014-15 school year

Henrico County, Va. – Henrico County Public Schools Human Resources will holding a job fair Tuesday to gear up for the 2014-15 school year.

HCPS is seeking candidates for full-time and substitute bus drivers. The school division is also looking for substitute custodians and cafeteria workers.

Members of the school division’s human resources, transportation, custodial services and school nutrition departments will be there to conduct preliminary interviews with interested candidates.

The substitute positions “are perfect jobs for folks who have flexible schedules or only want part-time work,” said Mary Alderson, HCPS human resources specialist.

*All candidates must have a high school degree or equivalent and have no felony convictions. Among other requirements, bus driver candidates must obtain a CDL instructional permit or hold a CDL Class B permit with endorsements in P/S (Transporting Passengers, School Bus) and air brakes.
