Richmond, it’s time for free summer Movies in the Park

movies in the parkRICHMOND, Va. — Just ahead of the official summer solstice at 6:51 a.m. on Saturday, June 21 is the official return of Movies in the Park.

The series will offer nine different movies at various recreation and community facilities throughout Richmond.

Activities begin at 8 p.m. and movies start around 8:30 p.m., or when it gets dark.  All movies are held on Friday.

The series kicks-off with Despicable Me 2, at Byrd Park, at 600 S. Boulevard.

The rest of the schedule is below, with a trailer for each movie.
