COLERIDGE, Ne. -- More tornadoes touched down in Nebraska on Tuesday. The area was already hard hit by severe weather this week.

Tuesday night into Wednesday morning at least two tornadoes were reportedly spotted by storm chasers near the town of Coleridge. Fortunately there were no reports of injuries. The storm is said to have been part of a larger system that has been tracking across the nations midsection since earlier this week.

The recent twisters hit a day after twin tornadoes nearly wiped off the map the farming town of Pilger, Nebraska. That storm was deadly, as two people including a five-year-old girl died as a result. Nearly 75 percent of the small town of Pilger was left severely damaged or destroyed, including its fire station.

Pilger, Nebraska is a town of approximately 350 residents.

Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman issued a state of emergency, putting the National Guard on standby.
