VIDEO: Is this ‘banned’ Grey Poupon ad too dirty for TV?

RICHMOND, Va. – It’s a classic line from a series of old school television commercials.

For years the question “Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon?” was used to sell the fancier-than-plain-old-yellow mustard.  The line was generally delivered by a stuffy gentlemen in fancy vehicle.

Now a YouTube video titled “Banned Grey Poupon Ad” makes an edgier sales pitch. While we’re not totally sure the commercial was actually banned – or even sanction by Grey Poupon – it did makes us laugh (in a middle school humor sort of way).

The clip was posted by OBVS on June 15. It racked up more than half a million page views in two days.
