A tasty preview of the 10th Annual Artful Wedding

RICHMOND, Va - Caterer and Chef Suzanne Wolstenholme, from Homemades by Suzanne located at The John Marshall Ballroom, joined us in the kitchen to make her Chocolate Butterfinger Torte served with All-Butter Sugar Cookies.  Taste more of Suzanne's creations at the 10th Annual Artful Wedding event, hosted by Richmond Magazine featuring 75 of the region's best bridal vendors on Sunday, June 22nd from 1-5pm at The John Marshall Ballroom located at 101 N. Chocolate Chip & Butterfinger Cheese Torte

Prep Time: 20 minutes                        Ready In: 3hours 20minutes      Servings: 32

 “A sweet switch from the usual cheese ball. Cream cheese and butter are sweetened and blended with miniature chocolate chips, then rolled in chopped pecans.”

 INGREDIENTS:

            1(8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

             ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

            ½ cup butter, softened

            ¾ cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

            ¾ cup confectioners’ sugar

            ¾ cup finely chopped Butterfinger bar

            2 tablespoons brown sugar

DIRECTIONS:

1.       In medium bowl, beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in confectioners’ sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips. Cover, and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

2.       Shape chilled cream cheese mixture into a ball. Wrap with plastic and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

3.       Roll the cheese ball in finely chopped Butterfinger bar before serving.
