RICHMOND, Va. - We have a full week of Summer-time weather! Each day will be seasonably hot (mid to upper 80s and lower 90s) and humid, with scattered showers and storms (mainly during late morning through mid-evening). Mornings will be muggy and mild in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

This Monday morning, a cold front is moving over the mountains of western Virginia. It will stall northwest of Richmond’s Metro, and linger in the western Piedmont for a few days.

This boundary will enhance shower and storm potential along it, even after sunset each day.

As we get pieces of upper-level energy passing over us, that will also enhance our scattered storm activity each day. Wednesday and Thursday look like the day with the most widespread storm activity.
