COLONIAL BEACH, Va. (WTVR) -- Some students will be bused to a town council meeting in Colonial Beach tomorrow, rallying to get more money for their school.

The former Colonial Beach Elementary School building burnt down after a fire in January. Students are now attending classes in other buildings on site that weren't damaged by the fire.

Parents received a letter sent home from the school to notify them that students were allowed to attend the town council meeting for the budget discussion on Monday.

If the currently proposed budget does move forward, organizers say that cuts could be made to after-school activities and sports.
